It's about time I updates my journal. It'd been about, two months? Eek.

Anyways; exams are done , schools is over, and I have a lot more free time to work on my own projects. Which means I'll start the contest prizes in ernest - I'm sorry about the huge delay.

It also means I'll be able to comment on more things, and answer more responses I've gotten really lazy over the past few months, and I want to change that. So I'll try and answer everything when I'm around this summer. Which isn't much... but it's the thought that counts! XD

Concerning Wander Dark...

I'm really sorry, but I've decided not to continue with it. I've been trying to keep myself motivated since January - the end of chapter one, the contest, the new site layout, the breaks - and it just isn't working. Looking at the script for the comic, well, it's basically really uninspiring. I'm also rather put off by the lack of character developpement, the clicheness of a lot of the upcoming script, the extreme amount of talking and just the story in general.

Instead, I'm thinking of starting a new project around December(ish), after completing a certain other time-consuming school enforced project. And this time I really want to plan it, really make it extra fun to read. Practicing my art won't hurt either I also wanted to use the Wander Dark story as a sort of subplot, since I like a lot of the general ideas behind it, but there will be a bunch of converting to do. I've thought up some ideas for now, and it looks a lot more promising than WD. Oh, and it's going to be a joint project, with my mysterious friend Sakyla We'll be working hard on it this summer. Hopefully you'll like it!

Once again, I'm really, really sorry. I'm rather disappointed in myself, but sometimes a project just falls through. I guess I was showing all the classic signs of giving up XD Anyways. Enough of me moaning on. Hopefully everyone's on summer holidays, or if not, will be soon My summer's already looking spifftastic, though very busy. I'm very excited.

Oh, and on an exceedingly random note, I JUST FINISHED CLEANING MY ENTIRE ROOM Like everything. Every single paper on every single shelf has beens stragically organised. It took me the better part of two days, and believe me, it wasn't fun XD
